Description
Rivers Conservation Grants support projects that protect and enhance the conservation or recreation value of Pennsylvania’s waterways. Administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) through the Community Conservation Partnerships Program, the grants support county and municipal governments, eligible municipal agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
The program brings together waterway conservation and public recreation access. Supported work includes stream and wetland restoration, small dam removal, and installation of boat launches, boardwalks, and fishing access. Grants also support river and watershed conservation plans and master site development plans, providing funding for planning alongside restoration and access improvements.
