--- ## Description This grant is a collaborative initiative between the American Academy of Sleep Medicine Foundation and the Restless Leg Syndrome Foundation. It aims to support both basic and clinical research focused on restless legs syndrome (RLS). The program funds projects that advance understanding of RLS, including its genetic, neurobiological, and therapeutic mechanisms, comorbidities, and both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments. Research priorities also include developing new assessment techniques, innovations in care delivery, identifying predictors of treatment response, studying special populations, and exploring RLS subtypes.
