Description
This forecasted NIH opportunity will fund the development, validation, and distribution of RNA molecular reference standards as part of the RNomics program. The initiative aims to enable integrated analysis of RNA molecules—including their sequences, modifications, structures, locations, interactions, and functions—to improve understanding of health and disease. The supported work will include the creation and dissemination of standards for modified nucleosides and oligonucleotides, guidance on best practices for their use, and planning for long-term availability. These standards are intended to facilitate benchmarking, reproducibility, and cross-platform comparison of RNA technologies for the broader biomedical research community.
