The NIH Common Fund, in partnership with other NIH Institutes and Centers, is planning a funding opportunity for RNomics Technology Enhancement Centers (RTECs). The RNomics program aims to develop and improve technologies for the integrated analysis of the full set of RNA molecules (the RNome) in cells and tissues. The RTECs will focus on further developing existing, feasible technologies and strengthening both experimental and computational tools for measuring, mapping, and testing RNA. The goal is to deliver significant improvements and support broad community use, with priority areas including end-to-end RNA sequencing, quantitative modification mapping, and comprehensive analysis of RNA sequence, structure, modification, interactions, localization, dynamics, and function.
