Description
This grant supports the management of roadside vegetation at the state, county, and city levels throughout Iowa. Funding is available for projects that improve the appearance and ecological function of roadsides, including the creation of attractive gateways into cities. The program also encourages demonstration and research projects to advance vegetation management practices and funds the purchase of specialized equipment and seed. The overarching goal is to promote innovative, effective stewardship of Iowa’s roadside environments.
