Description
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) awards Robotics League Participation Grants to help student teams take part in robotics competitions. Teams prepare and operate robots with a mentor, connecting hands-on work with an interest in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics. Qualifying competitions may be in person or virtual and must be sponsored by a qualifying nonprofit organization.
The grants support required competition fees, kits and supplies, travel to competitions, and mentor stipends. For the 2026–27 school year, the grant period runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
