Description
The Roland Jackson Memorial Grant is administered by the American Musicological Society (AMS) to support the production of work in music analysis. Established in 2023, it honors music historian and long-time AMS member Roland Jackson (1925–2015). The program supports projects such as articles, books, digital resources, performances, and syllabi.
Eligible work may take research, print, or digital forms, but must engage directly with the interpretation and realization of musical works, including through scores, recordings, and performance practice. The grant accommodates written scholarship, digital resources, teaching materials, and performance projects within this focus.
