The Royal Society of Biology (RSB) Travel Grants support UK or overseas travel connected with biological study, teaching, or research, creating opportunities recipients would otherwise be unlikely to have. This opportunity is for early-career MRSB members worldwide and supports future biology-related projects in the UK or abroad, or overseas conferences where applicants will present a talk or poster.
The scheme helps recipients learn laboratory and field techniques, develop professional skills, and network with academics. Previous recipients have undertaken laboratory visits and training and presented research at scientific meetings. Their work spans environmental toxicology, tissue repair and regeneration, tropical biology and conservation, silicon in agriculture, herpetology, and antimicrobial resistance.
