Description
The Rubberized Pavement Grant Program, administered by California's Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), funds public infrastructure projects that use recycled tire rubber in rubberized asphalt concrete (RAC) hot-mix and rubberized chip seal (RCS). The program is designed to divert waste tires from landfills, reduce illegal tire dumping, and foster markets for recycled-content surfacing products made from California-generated waste tires. Funding is available for qualifying projects located in California, with a priority for first-time or limited users of rubberized pavement technologies.
