Description
The Rural Development Fund Grants, administered by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD), are designed to promote the sustainability and expansion of land-based industries—such as agriculture, forestry, mining, oil and gas production, and tourism—and to improve infrastructure and quality of life in rural Michigan communities. The program aims to foster economic growth, resilience, and capacity building by funding projects that strengthen these sectors and support rural residents.
