Description
The Rural Needs Grant Round is a biennial funding opportunity jointly offered by the Initiative Foundation and the Central Minnesota Community Foundation. The grant supports planning and implementation of projects or programs that address the unique needs of rural communities, with a strong focus on alleviating poverty and supporting populations experiencing hardship. Eligible projects may include emergency and transitional services, community needs assessments, development of action plans, and the implementation of new or expanded programs. Funding can also be used for general operations if the work directly benefits rural communities in the designated region.
