Description
The S-Process Grant Round, offered by the Survival and Flourishing Fund (SFF), employs a unique, simulation-based review system to recommend funding for projects focused on mitigating existential risks and promoting long-term human flourishing. Applications are evaluated collaboratively by a panel of Recommenders and Funders using a specialized app, with final funding decisions made by SFF Funders. The process emphasizes transparency, collective expertise, and iterative evaluation.
Applicants must first receive a Speculation Grant to be guaranteed consideration in the S-Process Grant Round. Speculation Grants are expedited, individually approved awards that also serve as a prerequisite for entry into the main S-Process evaluation.
