Description
The Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Foundation (SAEMF) supports innovative projects that address the CDEM mission and generate knowledge that can be shared among undergraduate emergency medicine educators. Projects may focus on teaching, assessment, faculty development, or other areas that advance understanding or best practices. Recipients should study the innovation’s validity, effectiveness, or another aspect, connecting educational development with research.
CDEM’s mission encompasses advancing medical student education in emergency and acute care medicine; providing a unified national voice for clerkship directors and medical student educators; and creating a forum for exchanging ideas and solving common problems. It also promotes undergraduate medical education research and collaboration, educators’ professional development and career satisfaction, and relationships with other organizations that promote medical education.
