Description
This competitive grant program, administered by the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC), supports the development, enhancement, and coordination of programs and activities to strengthen Georgia’s response to the sexual exploitation of youth. The initiative is rooted in the Safe Harbor or Rachel’s Law Act and aims to increase awareness, foster multidisciplinary collaboration, and provide trauma-informed, culturally appropriate, and victim-centered services—including care, rehabilitative services, residential housing, health services, and social services—for sexually exploited children. Priority is given to projects establishing safe homes, delivering comprehensive wraparound services, and improving statewide coordination and resource accessibility for at-risk and victimized youth.
