Description
The Illinois Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Safety Programs and Engineering (BSPE) administers this grant program to advance the goal of zero fatalities on Illinois roadways. Funding is available for projects that enforce traffic safety laws and deploy strategies outlined in the Illinois Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP), with the overarching aim of reducing motor vehicle crashes, fatalities, and serious injuries.
