Key Information: Previous Women in CNS Travel Award recipients are ineligible.

    Description

The Safety Pharmacology Society (SPS) offers this memorial travel award to encourage women scientists working in central nervous system (CNS) research and/or abuse potential. It supports travel and participation in the Society’s annual meeting, helping recipients share their research rather than funding a research project. The award combines travel support, complimentary meeting registration, and Society membership.

The program serves students and early-career researchers engaged in preclinical safety pharmacology across academia, contract research organizations, industry, and government. Scientific quality and originality are central to selection, alongside the applicant’s potential to contribute to CNS and abuse liability research. Recipients present their work as a poster and participate in the meeting’s poster presentations and awards ceremony.
