Description
The Salivary Research Award is part of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Distinguished Scientist Awards and is supported by Unilever Oral Care. It stimulates and recognizes outstanding, innovative achievements that contribute to a basic understanding of salivary gland structure, secretion and function, or salivary composition and function. Significant achievements in either basic sciences or applied clinical sciences fall within its scope.
This award recognizes an individual’s research achievements rather than supporting a proposed project. Recipients are selected by the IADR Science Awards Committee, which includes the Science Awards chair and the chairs of the award subcommittees. The award is announced at the Opening Ceremonies of the IADR General Session & Exhibition.
