--- ## Description This program, administered by the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) and funded by the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, provides support for scholars preparing, completing, and publishing research related to Graeco-Roman art and architecture, as well as the broader Mediterranean world of Classical antiquity. Funding may be used for publication preparation, costs associated with publication (such as image licensing), or research leading to publication, including art historical monographs. The grant is overseen by the AIA's Publication Subvention Committee, composed of members with relevant scholarly expertise. Recipients must acknowledge the support of the Samuel H.
