The Chula Vista Community Foundation (CVCF), through San Diego Foundation, supports educational programs for Chula Vista students in grades 6–12. The 2027–2028 cycle focuses on learning gaps in reading, writing, and math that have widened since the COVID-19 pandemic. It seeks projects that benefit Chula Vista and make a positive impact on the community.
CVCF is particularly interested in interactive workshops and programs that engage individual students. Reading and writing programs should build literacy, comprehension, and communication skills, while math programs should strengthen foundational skills and build confidence. This grantmaking supports CVCF’s mission to improve quality of life in Chula Vista by meeting emerging needs and encouraging effective community philanthropy.
