Description
The SBIR/STTR Match Program, administered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), provides state grants to Illinois-based small businesses and startups that have received federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase I or II awards. The program is designed to bridge funding gaps, advance research and development, and help move innovative technologies closer to commercialization, thereby strengthening Illinois’ innovation ecosystem and economic growth.
