    Description

The Society for Biopsychosocial Science and Medicine (SBSM) runs the I2EyE Scholar Cohort Program to foster equitable participation by historically underrepresented, minoritized, or marginalized talent in health-related sciences. The program supports advanced graduate students, postgraduate trainees, and early-career faculty engaged in clinical or research areas aligned with the SBSM mission through a scholar-directed, personalized partnership.

Over two years, scholars select an I2EyE Ambassador who guides their Annual Meeting experience and connects them with scientific, service, award, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Preconference sessions, mentorship workshops, and quarterly virtual events build connections with Society leaders, special interest groups, and fellow scholars. Second-year scholars take on peer leadership and programming roles, while graduates are invited to sustain these connections through an alumni community.
