    Description

SC Ministry Foundation promotes the mission and ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati by strengthening organizations that embody service, justice, and compassion. Founded in 1996, it supports nonprofit initiatives rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, with commitments to education, health care, social justice, environmental stewardship, and human dignity. Its grantmaking seeks to strengthen communities and uplift those most in need.

Greater Cincinnati Foundation administers the foundation’s annual grant cycle through a collaboration beginning in 2027. Most grants support organizations in the Tri-State/Greater Cincinnati region, but domestic and international organizations outside the region may also qualify through a historical connection to the Sisters of Charity or alignment with their areas of interest.
