Description
The South Carolina NASA EPSCoR office, administered by the South Carolina Space Grant Consortium, supports aerospace and aerospace-related research at South Carolina institutions of higher education. The Research Grant Program provides seed funding to help build a long-term, self-sustaining academic research enterprise capable of competing nationally.
Funded projects are expected to establish research activities that contribute significantly to NASA’s and South Carolina’s strategic research and technology development priorities. The program considers scientific and technical merit, NASA relevance, the project’s contribution to research and technology development in the state, and plans to sustain the work beyond the initial project.
