    Description

The Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists’ Registry Based Projects Award Program supports members conducting research using national registry data. Formerly known as the PUF Award Program, it funds meaningful work that advances cardiovascular anesthesia care while reflecting SCA’s growing commitment to registry-based research and quality improvement.

The program’s registry partnerships include the STS National Database and the newly added Multicenter Perioperative Outcomes Group (MPOG). MPOG is a national quality improvement collaborative that collects and analyzes detailed anesthesia data from participating institutions. Together, these resources help investigators benchmark cardiovascular anesthesia practice, identify opportunities for improvement, and demonstrate the value of cardiovascular anesthesia care.
