Description
The Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities raises funds through events and activities to support nonprofit children's organizations in Southern Nevada. The program aims to help children lead productive lives and have equal opportunities, regardless of the obstacles they face.
Grant priorities fall within three pillars: critical needs, medical needs, and education. Critical needs include support for victims of sex trafficking, children experiencing homelessness, orphans, foster children, and food security. Medical priorities include illness, dental needs, disability, and therapy. Educational priorities include tutoring, literacy, and after-school programs. Organizations serving homeless children, orphans, foster children, and victims of sex trafficking receive priority consideration, although all eligible organizations are encouraged to apply.
