Description
Harvard Radcliffe Institute’s Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America offers four grants and fellowships for work that uses its collections. They support Harvard undergraduates conducting independent or course-related research, predoctoral scholars working on dissertations, researchers beyond graduate school, and middle and high school educators connecting archival research to classroom teaching.
The library supports scholarship on women, gender, and sexuality. Its 2026–2027 recipients’ projects range from reproductive rights and childcare policy to women’s writing, transgender history, art, food, and family archives. Applications are assessed for the significance and potential contribution of the research and for creative use of the library’s holdings.
