Description
The Scholar in Clinical Research award, part of the Career Development Program (CDP) from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (now Blood Cancer United), is designed to support accomplished investigators with independent faculty appointments who are leading innovative clinical research programs in hematologic malignancies and related premalignant conditions. This award is specifically for researchers whose work directly involves patients and is closely tied to their clinical activities—often including early-stage clinical trials—rather than being primarily laboratory-based or focused on model systems.
Unlike traditional project-based grants, this program funds the overall clinical research agenda of the investigator, recognizing and supporting rising stars who are making significant contributions to the field and advancing the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of blood cancers.
