The Scholar-in-Residence Fellowship at the Center for Khmer Studies (CKS) provides an opportunity for a postdoctoral scholar or researcher to undertake an extended research residency (6 months to 1 year) at CKS in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This fellowship is designed to promote high-quality research and writing on Cambodian history, society, culture, politics, arts, economics, and related topics in the humanities or social sciences. The fellow will have access to CKS’s extensive library and research facilities, office space, and will be immersed in the Center’s vibrant academic community through weekly seminars, workshops, and public events. The Scholar-in-Residence is expected to pursue their own research project while also contributing to academic programming and interdisciplinary knowledge exchange at CKS.
