Description
The Scholars' Travel Fund (STF) is a program of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Campus Research Board designed to support faculty who are presenting original scholarly research or creative work at academic gatherings, including national disciplinary meetings and specialized conferences. The fund provides partial support for travel expenses such as airfare, registration fees, transportation, meals, and lodging, with award amounts determined by destination. A pilot Specialized Faculty Scholars’ Travel Fund (SF-STF) extends eligibility to specialized faculty in targeted units. The STF is intended to facilitate faculty participation in academic discourse and the dissemination of research and creative achievements.
