Key Information: Networks must involve at least three higher education institutions in the UK, Isle of Man, or Channel Islands.
The London Mathematical Society’s Scholarship Network Grants support connections among mathematical scientists who have, or are building, a teaching and scholarship profile in higher education mathematics and its applications. The scheme funds networking activities that develop scholarship projects related to teaching, learning, and the wider student experience, including regional or national meetings and events.
The scheme advances the Society’s “Pathways in Mathematics” strategic goal: promoting mathematics and opportunities for people to study it and develop careers in mathematics and its applications. Support contributes to the practical costs of bringing speakers and participants together remotely or in person. Networks should share a scholarly interest, involve genuine collaboration across institutions, and consider how their connections will be sustained beyond the funded activities.
