Description
The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) created the School Bus Replacement Program in 2016 to support school bus replacements in Wyoming. The program has helped replace more than 100 buses.
Funding comes partly from the Environmental Protection Agency through the Diesel Emission Reduction Act and partly from matching funds from the 2016 Volkswagen Settlement. DEQ provides an application page, a reimbursement-document submission form, and information about past diesel-emissions and Volkswagen Settlement projects.
