Description
The Virginia Department of Education administers the School Construction Assistance Program, with competitive awards made by the Virginia Board of Education. It supports construction, expansion, flexible space buildouts, and major modernization or renovation of public school buildings, including school-based and regional career and technical education (CTE) facilities. Similar capital work across multiple schools in a division, such as HVAC, window, or door replacement, can be submitted as one project.
