    Description

The International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN) Schools Support Grant funds the organisation of international neurochemistry schools. Managed by the ISN Schools Support Committee, the programme supports educational environments where scientists and trainees develop technical skills, exchange knowledge, explore advances in neurochemistry, and build international collaborations. Schools may take place worldwide, with particular emphasis on initiatives in emerging regions.

Supported schools address important topics in neurochemistry in their cellular, molecular, or clinical context. Teaching must match the target audience’s skill level and may combine lectures, hands-on laboratory training, or both. Active participation is expected, including student presentations where appropriate. The programme prioritises scientific quality, well-structured teaching, faculty strength and diversity, and impact on training and capacity building.
