Description
The Schoor Research Award is an annual award from the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation recognizing a resident-written manuscript. It supports a wide range of research subjects significant to the clinical practice of periodontology. Residents in any year of an accredited U.S. periodontal program may apply, provided they meet the full-time residency requirement.
Founded in 2015, the award honors Robert S. Schoor, DDS, a champion of periodontal education and students. Its focus is recognition of the resident’s written research.
