Scholars may design and conduct their own research projects, teach undergraduate or graduate courses (of their own design or as assigned by the host), and engage in activities such as mentoring, curriculum enhancement, faculty development, and organizing seminars or workshops. The program aims to foster academic exchange and promote international understanding between the United States and Egypt, with a particular emphasis on advancing scientific development in line with Egypt’s higher education and innovation strategies. Scholars are encouraged to participate in public talks and community engagement beyond their primary academic duties.
