Description
The American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) administers this scientific achievement award through its Division for Drug Discovery and Development. Part of ASPET’s division-sponsored awards program, it recognizes outstanding investigators whose contributions have advanced drug discovery, translational science, and/or drug development. It is an achievement distinction rather than funding for a proposed research project.
Recognized contributions may include technologies, methods, or processes that enhance drug discovery or accelerate drug development. Work in any therapeutic area is considered, as are contributions involving small molecules, oligonucleotides, gene therapies, biologics, and drug-device combinations.
