Description
The European Society of Cardiology’s Working Group on Cardiac Cellular Electrophysiology (WG CCE) offers Scientific Exchange Grants to strengthen collaboration between research institutions in different European countries. The programme supports early-career investigators, including PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, undertaking research visits in cellular cardiac electrophysiology. Funding helps cover travel and accommodation for visits of at least one month at a host institution abroad.
The exchange should provide a setting for a proposed research project and closer relations between participating laboratories. Selection considers the scientific value of the visit, its relevance to the investigator’s future research career, and the quality and suitability of the host laboratory. Projects are also assessed for their contribution to the Working Group’s objectives.
