Scientific Meeting Support is one of four funding opportunities offered by the Geochemistry Group to promote and support geochemistry-related research within Great Britain and Ireland. The scheme focuses on supporting scientific meetings and has three application rounds each year.
The Geochemistry Group is a Special Interest Group of both the Mineralogical Society of the UK and Ireland and the Geological Society of London. It promotes geochemistry as a discipline and strengthens links between its many areas. The Group’s wider activities have a particular focus on early-career geochemists, including PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers, and showcasing new geochemical talent.
