Description
Breast Cancer Alliance’s Screening and Diagnostics grant supports institutions delivering breast cancer screening and diagnostic services to underserved and underinsured populations. The program advances the Alliance’s mission to improve survival rates and quality of life through better prevention, early detection, treatment, and cure. The 2027 program focuses on screening, diagnostic mammograms, and ultrasounds rather than the broader range of care and assistance institutions may provide.
Support is directed to programs in Connecticut and/or Westchester County, New York. The grant excludes services such as MRIs, patient counseling, patient navigation, and training programs, as well as specified operating and assistance costs. Breast Cancer Alliance’s Grants Committee reviews proposals and recommends awards to its Board for approval.
