The Scripps Postdoctoral Program is a competitive, annual fellowship for early-career scientists to pursue independent research at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (UC San Diego). The program is designed to support innovative projects across a wide spectrum of topics in oceanography, marine biology, and earth science, fostering professional development and collaboration with Scripps faculty mentors. Fellows are encouraged to identify and collaborate with Scripps faculty whose research aligns with their interests, drawing on the institution's extensive expertise in fields such as climate science, marine chemistry, ecology, geophysics, and more.
