The SCTR Voucher Program provides MUSC faculty with small grants to access specialized research services and resources that enhance scientific rigor, safety, and translational impact of their projects.

Funding Amounts: Up to $2,500 per voucher; one voucher per PI per project per year

Description
The SCTR Voucher Program, administered by the South Carolina Clinical & Translational Research Institute at MUSC, provides targeted, small-scale funding to help researchers strengthen and advance their projects. Vouchers are intended to support gathering preliminary data for future grant proposals, improving the scientific rigor or safety of ongoing studies, or developing or enhancing the translational focus of research. Funds are generally used to access specialized services, core facilities, laboratory procedures, or other resources that can bolster research efforts.
