Description
The Searle Scholars Program provides substantial support to exceptional early-career scientists who have recently started their first tenure-track (or equivalent) assistant professorship at a participating academic or research institution. The program is designed to enable these researchers to establish independent research programs in biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, immunology, neuroscience, pharmacology, and related fields in chemistry, medicine, and the biological sciences. Each year, approximately 15 new Searle Scholars are selected based on their potential for innovative, high-impact research.
