Summary: Provides SWOG researchers with statistical support to conduct secondary analyses of clinical trial and linked data to improve cancer care and address disparities.
The Secondary Data Analysis program, offered by The Hope Foundation for Cancer Research, is designed to support SWOG investigators in conducting comprehensive database analyses. The program provides essential statistical support for projects utilizing SWOG clinical trials data, either independently or in combination with other data sources such as registries (e.g., SEER) or claims data (e.g., SEER-Medicare). The overarching goal is to improve cancer care quality and reduce healthcare disparities through rigorous clinical, epidemiologic, and translational research. Projects are selected via a competitive, peer-reviewed process and must align with SWOG’s research mission.
