This fellowship program is designed to support women seeking their first full-time master’s or professional degree in disciplines where female participation has been historically low, particularly in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and medicine. The goal is to advance gender equity in STEM and related professional fields by providing financial support and recognizing academic excellence, career commitment, and dedication to public interest or under-resourced communities. The fellowship is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents enrolled at accredited U.S. or eligible international institutions.
Special consideration is given to applicants who have overcome significant life challenges, are first-generation college students, parenting students, or those who intend to serve under-resourced populations. Fellowship funds can be used for tuition, fees, course-required materials, and living expenses.
