Description
The Selected Professions Fellowship Program, offered by the American Association of University Women (AAUW), is designed to support women pursuing their first full-time master’s or professional degree in fields where women are underrepresented, especially in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) and medicine. The fellowship aims to foster diversity, equity, and academic excellence in these professions by providing financial support to help recipients complete their degrees and launch impactful careers.
Special consideration is given to applicants who plan to serve under-resourced populations, pursue public interest areas, or come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The fellowship supports a wide array of STEM and health-related disciplines, and funds may be used for tuition, course-required expenses, and living costs.
