Description
The Selley Foundation, a donor-advised fund of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, aims to improve the lives of people in the Greater New Orleans area by supporting nonprofits in the fields of arts and culture, education, and environment. Grants are available for both capital projects (such as construction, renovation, land or building acquisition, and major equipment purchases) and programmatic initiatives that expand or sustain an organization's mission. The foundation gives preference to organizations with a proven track record of at least ten years and requires a minimum of 75% board giving. Projects that have already secured significant funding from other sources are prioritized, though in special cases, the foundation may fund up to 100% of a project’s cost.
