The Selma Jeanne Cohen Conference Presentation Award, administered by the American Society for Theatre Research (ASTR), is designed to recognize and support scholars whose work explores the intersections of theatre and dance or movement. Inspired by the legacy of Selma Jeanne Cohen—a pioneering dance scholar and editor—the award provides financial assistance for travel and hotel expenses, as well as complimentary conference registration, to enable recipients to present their research at the ASTR annual conference.
