Description
The SCHAA Fund for Seniors is an endowment at the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation (AAACF) that awards grants to organizations and programs serving older adults and their caregivers. It carries forward the commitment of the volunteer leaders of Senior Citizens Housing of Ann Arbor (SCHAA) to helping older adults.
Following the sale of Lurie Terrace to the City of Ann Arbor, SCHAA dissolved as an independent nonprofit. Its volunteer leadership established the endowment at AAACF as a continuing vehicle for supporting older adults and the people who care for them.
