The Senior Fellows program at Williams College's Oakley Center is designed to provide retired (emerita/us) faculty with a supportive and stimulating environment to continue their research in the humanities and social sciences. Senior Fellows receive office space at the Oakley Center, are expected to be in residence for either a semester or a full academic year, and are integrated into the Center’s vibrant intellectual community through weekly lunchtime forums and other activities. The program aims to keep retired faculty actively engaged in scholarly work and the life of the academic community.
