--- ## Description The Senior Fellowships funded by the Samuel H. Kress Foundation offer scholars the opportunity to conduct full-time, in-residence research at the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts (CASVA) at the National Gallery of Art. These fellowships are designed to support research focused on European art before the early 19th century, fostering interdisciplinary study and critical analysis in the visual arts.
