Description
This annual award honors graduating senior medical students who have conducted exceptional research and are considering a career in academic surgery. The program aims to foster future academic surgeons by providing recognition, complimentary registration to the Academic Surgical Congress, a travel stipend, and public acknowledgment of recipients' achievements. Six awards are given each year—three for basic science projects and three for clinical, outcomes, health services, or education research.
